Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Cleansly

 

Welcome to Cleansly, a mobile platform operated by Cleansly Inc. ("Cleansly," "we,"

"our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use

of our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "App"). By

accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not

agree, do not use the App.

 

  1. Eligibility 

 

To use Cleansly, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your Jurisdiction. You represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

 

2. Our Services

 

Cleansly connects consumers ("Users") with independent service providers

("Providers") offering cleaning and detailing services for vehicles, homes, and

businesses. We do not directly perform any cleaning services. All jobs are performed by independent Providers.

 

3. Account Registration

 

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

 

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

 

4. Booking & Payments

 

  • All jobs start at $99.98 or higher depending on the service type

  • Payment is collected through the App and processed via a third-party

        payment processor

  • Cleansly receives a commission from each job completed

  • Providers are paid directly after service completion, subject to verification

We do not guarantee service outcomes, provider availability, or job

satisfaction.

 

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

  • Users may cancel bookings through the App before the service begins

  • Cancellation fees may apply based on timing and provider policy

  • Refunds are issued at Cleansly's discretion

 

6. Provider Responsibilities

 

All Providers on the platform must:

 

  • Maintain their own liability insurance (minimum $300,000)

  • Operate as independent businesses

  • Submit before and after photos through the App

  • Comply with all applicable health, safety, and business laws

 

7. User Responsibilities

 

As a User, you agree to:

 

  • Provide safe access to your property for cleaning

  • Avoid requesting unlawful or hazardous services

  • Not misuse the App for fraud, harassment, or impersonation

 

8. Intellectual Property

 

All content on the App, including logos, designs, and text, is the property of Cleansly or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the App without written consent.

 

9. Termination

 

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of

these Terms, suspected fraud, or any illegal activity.

 

10. Disclaimers

 

The App and services are provided "as is" and "as available."

 

  • We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of Provider listings

  • Cleansly is not liable for the acts or omissions of Providers

 

11. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cleansly shall not be liable for:

 

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Any disputes between Users and Providers

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid to us in the past 6 months.

 

12. Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cleansly, its directors, employees, and

affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your use of the App or

violation of these Terms.

 

13. Governing Law

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

14. Changes to These Terms

 

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post updates in-app and revise the

"Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App means you accept the new

terms.

 

15. App Permissions & Privacy (Updated Oct 2025)

 

To provide our cleaning services platform, the Cleansly app may request the

following device permissions:

 

Location (Foreground Only): To connect you with nearby cleaning service providers

and ensure accurate service delivery addresses. We collect location data  ONLY when  the app is actively open and in use. We do NOT track your location in the

background or when the app is closed or minimized.

 

Camera (Optional): To enable you to capture before/after service photos when

documenting cleaning work. This permission is completely optional and only

requested when you choose to use the camera feature.

 

Photo Library Access (Privacy-First): On Android 13 and newer devices, we use the

secure built-in Android Photo Picker, which does not require storage permissions

and gives you complete control over which specific photos to share. On older

Android devices (12 and below), we request minimal scoped storage access only for

the individual photos you select to upload.

 

Push Notifications: To send you important booking confirmations, service updates,

provider messages, service reminders, and account-related communications. You

can manage notification preferences in your device settings.

 

Privacy Enhancements (Version 1.2.0):

 

  • Removed broad photo/video storage permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES,

        READ_MEDIA_VIDEO)

  • Disabled background location tracking

        (ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION)

  • Implemented privacy-first Android Photo Picker for modern devices

  • Updated to Android SDK 35 with latest security standards

  • Enhanced app security with scoped storage and HTTPS-only communication

 

You maintain full control over all permissions and can revoke them at any time

through your device settings. The app will continue to function with limited features if certain optional permissions are denied.
